FAQS

HOW DO I GET TO STOWE, VT, AND WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE?

Address: 3791 Sterling Valley Rd, Stowe, VT 05672

From the Boston area, the trip typically takes 3.5 to 4 hours, depending on traffic and stops. There’s ample free parking right outside the lodge. Plan to arrive between 3–5 PM on Thursday, 11/6 so you have time to settle in and nosh a bit before our first main event at 5 PM. We’ll be kicking things off with a group dinner around 6 or 7 PM, and we’d love to have everyone there!

For anyone flying in from outside the Boston area:

  • The closest airport is Burlington International Airport (BTV) — it's about a 45–50 minute drive from Stowe.

  • From the airport, you can rent a car or coordinate with others for a ride up to the lodge.

Let us know your arrival time if you're flying in or if you’d like to carpool — we’re happy to help with logistics or ride shares!

A more detailed agenda will be shared closer to the weekend!

DO I NEED TO PACK ANYTHING SPECIAL?

Plan for comfort, movement, and a little Vermont weather! You’ll want:

Activewear for daily movement (yoga, sculpt, hikes/walks) — bring layers for indoors and out

Cozy clothes for meals and hangouts — think sweaters, leggings, and sweatpants

Swimsuit for the sauna and optional cold plunge

Outerwear like a warm jacket, hat, gloves, and scarf

Footwear: hiking shoes/boots, warm socks or slippers, and sandals for the sauna

Extras: a journal, water bottle, any supplements or rituals you enjoy, ear plugs/eye mask if you’d like

A more detailed packing list will be shared closer to the weekend, so stay tuned!

WHAT ARE THE ROOMS LIKE? ARE THERE AMENITIES?

Room Stats:

Rooms are similar size except for the Grand Suite, which is twice the size, and the zen den, which is a bit smaller. All bathrooms are either en suite or private located next door.

  • Organic, non-toxic mattresses and cozy linens from Avocado Green Mattresses

  • Organic towels and bath mats

  • Natural bath and body products from Ursa Major

  • Sounds machines

DO I NEED TO BRING MY OWN MAT OR YOGA PROPS?

Mats, blocks, towels, and other props are included, but you are welcome to bring your own if you prefer!

WHAT THE F*CK IS AYURVEDIC NUTRITION?

Ayurvedic nutrition is a holistic approach to eating that aligns food choices with your dosha (body type), the seasons, and natural rhythms to promote balance and well-being. It focuses on fresh, seasonal foods and mindful eating to support digestion and health. For that reason, most meals we enjoy will be plant-based or pescatarian, but we can accommodate dietary restrictions!

IS ALCOHOL PROVIDED?

No alcohol will be provided at Sterling Forest Lodge, and the property is a dry property - all bevs served on the property will be non-alcoholic :) Our dinner at Cork in downtown Stowe will include wine (included in the retreat offering), but is completely optional!
